What is Nordic walking and why is it important

Nordic Walking is a sport that can only be done outdoors walking at a brisk and alternating pace. Created in Northern Europe as a summer sport for cross-country skiers, practice of this sport has spread to other sports enthusiasts.

Nordic walking allows you to get into excellent physical shape in a fast and fun way: using sticks you work on your shoulders, chest and arms, a brisk and regular pace on the other hand trains the muscles in your legs by toning and strengthening them. That’s not all: thanks to the intense rhythm breathing is also regularised which favours improved circulation. Walking surrounded by nature also reinforces your immune system.
With qualified instructors it is possible to learn the technique of this sport correctly and harmoniously and enjoy the numerous benefits it brings.
